Supernanny ??

I started having problems going to sleep. We have a routine, but as soon as dad/mom leaves me in the crib, I lose it and cry so loud that the neighborhood wakes up. Now, they pull the 'Supernanny' (TV show) and don't talk to me and just put their hands on my back to calm me down instead of picking me up and cuddle me. But I'm too smart. I saw the Supernanny TV show too, you know... ok. Time to cry again...

[Ich habe seit einiger Zeit Schwierigkeiten einzuschlafen. Wir haben eine Routine, aber wenn Mom/Dad mich in der Krippe alleine lassen, raste ich aus und schreie wie wild. Jetzt machen sie es wie das 'Super Kindermaedchen' (TV Serie) und reden nicht, sonder legen nur die Hand auf meinen Ruecken um mich zu beruhigen...anstatt mich aus der Krippe zu nehmen und zu umarmen. Aber ich durchblicke es. Ich schaue die TV Serie auch. ok. Es ist wieder Zeit zu schreien....]

Got 2 more shots today: Hepatitis A and chickenpox. Needless to say that I did not like it...at all.

[Habe heute wieder 2 Impfungen bekommen. Hepatitis A und Windpocken. Es eruebrigt sich zu erwaehnen, dass ich es gar nicht gutfand.]

Legoland again

I went to Legoland again today with my buddies. It is soo much much there. And Legoland is only 5 min from our house.

[Ich war heute mit meinen Kumpels wieder im Legoland. Es ist sooo viel Spass und Legoland ist nur 5 min vom Haus entfernt.]

Got our carpet cleaned

Got our carpet cleaned on Friday. It is still kinda wet, so we have to wear booties. Looks funny.

[Am Freitag wurde unser Fussboden gereinigt. Ist noch etwas nass, deshalb die Plastikschuhe. Sieht lustig aus.]

Found a new playground

Mom found a new playground 15 min away. It's a lot of fun...but I'm not sure about the sand yet...

[Mommy had einen neuen Spielplatz gefunden, 15 min entfernt. Habe dort viel Spass, aber ich weiss noch nicht, was ich mit dem Sand machen soll...]

 

  

 

Taylor got trimmed too

Taylor got trimmed too last week. You don't see much though. We don't want to cut off her soft fur.

[Taylor hat auch einen Haarschnitt bekommen. Wir wollten nicht viel abschneiden. Nur etwas am Bauch und Hintern.]

Can't sleep

I can't sleep today. It's 9pm and I'm alone in the crib...crying. I want more of daddy and some extra food. Maybe even a book. Daddy??? Anyone???? Helllloooo???

I got another haircut today. This time I didi a lot better. Coco also got a summer cut today...

Throwing the ball

I started throwing the ball for Taylor. Just a couple of feet but it's a start. Taylor jumps to get the ball. That's fun.

[Ich bin angefangen den Ball fuer Taylor zu werfen. Nur einen Meter, aber es ist ein Anfang. Taylor springt nach dem Ball. Das macht Spass.]

More Shots

I got more shots the other day at the pediatrician: DTP and pneumo..something. I can't remember all those BIG words.

I weight 27 pounds now and dropped the percentile from 95% to 87% (= I slowed down my weight gain). That's because I use more engery trying to walk. I'm 32 inches tall :)

Also, I have a small eczema on my cheek (it wasn't ringworm). Got some hypercortisone and after only 1 day, it looks a lot better.

The pediatrician said, I'm totally healthy :) I told you so mom!


[Ich habe wieder einige Impfungen beim Kinderarzt bekommen. And die Namen kann ich mich nicht erinnern...sind zu kompliziert.

Ich wiege jetzt 27 Pfund und bin von 95% auf 87 percentile heruntergegangen. D.h. mein Gewichtzuwachs hat sich verringert. Das kommt vom Laufen. Ich bin jetzt 32 inches gross :)

Ich habe ausserdem keinen Ringwurm, sondern ein Ekzem auf meiner Backe. Habe Cortison bekommen und schon nach einem Tag sieht es viel besser aus.

Sonst bin ich total gesund. :)]

Eating with a spoon

I started eating with a spoon. Still trying to figure things out though, but making progress. I actually put the spoon with food in my mouth the other day...although I like eating with my fingers. I have more control that way.

[Ich habe zum ersten Mal mit dem Loeffel gegessen. Ich versuche noch herauszufinden was ein Loeffel ist und wie man ihn handhabt. Vor einigen Tagen habe ich zum ersten Mal den Loeffel mit Essen in meinen Mund gesteckt :) Ich bevorzuge aber mit den Fingern zu essen. Habe so mehr Kontrolle.]

Working on the next milestone...

...talking. After I managed the walk, I can now concentrate on talking. I make some more sounds like kuku and kakabu and I feel that I will be making progress fast now. I also say mama now.

[Der naechste Meilenstein...Reden. Nachdem ich das Laufen gelernt habe, kann ich mich jetzt ganz auf das Reden konzentrieren. Ich kann jetzt kuku, kakabu und mama sagen. Ich werde das Reden jetzt schnell erlernen.]
