Chimpanzee is back

The chimpanzee is back. I mean..my scream. It sounds like a chimpanzee and I scream if I don't get my way. Guess, the naughty corner will start soon so my parents can set some boundaries.

Blowing my nose

I have a cold -again- but I'm tough. And I learned how to blow my nose on command.

[Ich habe wieder eine Erkaeltung. Aber ich lasse mich nicht unterkriegen. Und ich habe gelernt auf Kommando die Nase zu schnaeuzen.]

Diaper check

Dad trained me to lean against the wall and put my arms up when he says 'DIAPER CHECK'. That's funny.

[Dad hat mich trainiert mich gegen die Wand zu lehnen und meine Haende zu heben wenn er ruft 'WINDEL CHECK'. Das ist witzig]

Guten Umzug!

My grandparents from Germany are moving to a new condo today. It is a brand new condo and they got a new kitchen and lots more. Waiting to see pictures when they have internet connection.

Raining...

Has been raining the entire day. Did not go to the Christmas tree lighting and Santa arrival. Too dangerous to drive too. Just stayed home today.

[Es hat den ganzen Tag geregnet und wir sind nicht zum Weihnachtsbaumfestival gegangen wo auch Santa mit dem Zug kommen sollte. Es ist zu gefaehrlich zu fahren und we sind heute zu Hause geblieben.]

Skype

I skyped with my grandparents in Germany this morning. For the first time we both had video and it worked. I said 'mama' and some other words. It was fun. Next skype in in January when my grandpa has the fast internet connection in the new condo.

[Ich habe heute morgen mit meinen Grosseltern aus Deutschland geskyped. Zum ersten Mal hat alles funktioniert. Ich habe 'mama' und einige andere Woerter gesagt. Hat spass gemacht. Das naechste Mal werden wir im Januar skypen wenn meine Grosseltern die schnelle Internetverbindung im neuen Condo haben.]

I now use paperplates at the restaurant. I used to just throw stuff, but now I can eat like a big boy :)

First Winter Storm

We had our first winter storm with rain, hail and snow. First real rain since earlier this year. Snow fell in higher altitudes in San Diego.

[Wir hatten heute den ersten Wintersturm mit Regen, Hagel und Schnee. Der erste echte Regen seit ueber 8 Monaten. In den Bergen ist sogar Schnee gefallen.]

Mom and Dad are back :)

Mom and dad came back last night from Las Vegas. I'm sooo happy. I missed them...although I had tons of fun with grandma and grandpa.

[Mom und Dad kamen letzte Nacht aus Las Vegas zurueck. Ich bin sooo gluecklich. Habe sie vermisst obwohl ich viel Spass mit Oma und Opa hatte.]

Last blog for a couple of days...

My parents will be in Las Vegas for 3 nights starting Sunday and my grandparents from LA come and babysit me and the dogs. I won't blog until Thanksgiving as I will be too busy playing with my grandparents.

[Meine Eltern werden am Sonntag fure 3 Naechts nach Las Vegas fahren. Meine Grosseltern aus Los Angeles werden kommen und auf mich und die Hunde aufpasse. Ich werde keine Zeit haben zu bloggen.]

Pneumonia update - Lungenentzuendungsupdate

Feeling a lot better. Taking my antibiotics and the cough is almost completely gone. I'm healed !!

[Es geht mir sehr viel besser. Das Antibiotikum hilft und der Husten ist fast weg. Ich bin geheilt !!]

I got another haircut yesterday and did not cry at all :)

I will watch the Leonid meteor shower later tonight...if I'm not too tired. I did not nap today.

Walking Pneumonia

I have a mild walking pneumonia. First I had a cold and then the cough came and stayed. No fever though or anything else. Just a cough and I drink a lot of water. The pediatrician hears some sounds in my left lung. I'm now taking amoxicillin and in a week it should all be over.

[Ich habe eine milde Lungenentzuendung. Erst hatte ich eine Erkaeltung, dann kam der Husten und blieb. Kein Fieber, nur husten. Ich trinke sehr viel Wasser. Der Kinderarzt hat in der linken Lunge etwas Geraeusche gehoert und hat Amoxicillin verschrieben. In einer Woche sollte alles vorueber sein.]
