I have personality!

I have more and more personality! I can talk more but also have more facial/body expressions, dance, challenge my parents and play with their reactions. This will be a fun year !!

[Ich habe mehr und mehr Persoenlichkeit. Ich rede mehr, druecke mich mehr mit Koerper aus, Mimik/Gestik, Tanze, fordere meine Eltern heraus und spiele mit deren Reaktionen. Das wird ein spassiges Jahr !!]

My first real sentences...

Said my first real 3 word sentences today without being prompted or repeating something:
-"Daddy help me" (mom tickled me)
-"it hurts me" (sat on a lego)

I'm getting there :)

[Habe heute meine ersten richtige 3 Woerter Saetze gesagt ohne das ich dazu aufgefordert wurde oder etwas wiederholte:
-"Daddy hilf mir" (Mom hat mich gekitzelt)
-"es tut weh" (Ich sass auf einem Lego)]

Good Reviews from Preschool and Speechtherapy

The preschool teacher reported to my parents that I'm doing very well at preschool. I listen well, help with cleaning and put things away. I go pee without help (poo still in diaper).
The Speechtherapist stated that I'm also doing very well in speech class and that I should do the articulation class next 'semester' to help with my pronunciation.

[Die Vorschullehrerin hat meinen Eltern erzaehlt, dass ich mich sehr gut mache. Ich hoere auf die Lehrer und helfe beim Aufraeumen. Ich pinkel in die Toilette ohne Hilfe (grosses Geschaeft noch immer in eine Windel).
Die Sprachtherapeutin sagte, dass ich grosse Vortschritte gemacht habe und ich nur noch die Artikulationsklasse im naechsten Semester machen muss um meine Aussprache zu verbessern.]

Time with Daddy

Had a lot of fun this week with daddy. Mom takes classes in the evening 3 times a week, so I'm playing all kinds of fun games with daddy.

[Hatte diese Woche viel Spass mit Daddy. Mom ist 3Mal in der Woche abends in einer Computerklasse und ich spiele alle moeglichen Spiele mit Daddy.]

Goal Review

The speech therapist reviewed our goals and gave me the results:
"Although Hunter has just recently begun speech therapy, he is producing 2-3 word combinations in structured activities with visual aids and verbal cues in 8/10 trials. [..] Hunter is already demonstrating improved ability to produce target sounds in words, with verbal and visual cues/models"

[Die Sprachtherapeutin hat heute meine Ziele neu bewertet und folgende Ergebnisse mitgeteilt:
"Obwohl Hunter erst kuerzlich mit der Sprachtherapie begonnen hat, bildet er waehrend strukturiertem Spielen 2-3 Wortkombinationen 8 aus 10 Mal. [..] Hunter kann Klangbilder mit verbalen und visuellen Hilfen besser produzieren."]

Mastered the pee

I mastered the pee in the toilet. I can go in the bathroom, turn on the light, pull down my pants, pee, pull up, flush and turn off the light....all alone without help from my parents.

[Ich habe jetzt keine Problem mehr in die Toilette zu pinkeln. Ich gehe in das Badezimmer, schalte das Licht ein, ziehe mein Hose herunter, pinkel, hoch ziehen, Licht aus....alles ohne Hilfe meiner Eltern]

preschool - no accidents

Was in pre-school today and did not have any pee accidents. I used the toiled the whole day. Miss Diana said that I also pooed in the toilet, but I don't remember that.

[War heute in der Vorschule und hatte keine Unfaelle. Habe immer die Toilette benutzt. Miss Diana hat gesagt, dass ich auch ein grosses Geschaeft in die Toilette gemacht habe, ich kann mich daran aber nicht erinnern.]

For now, I refuse to go #2 on the toilet. I demanded a diaper last night to poo. At least the pee thing works out.

[Ok, grosses Geschaeft mache ich im Moment noch nicht in die Toilette. Gestern Abend habe ich nach einer Windel verlangt. Wenigstens funktioniert das Pinkeln in die Toilette.]

2 accidents

2 potty training accidents so far but I caught myself and did the rest in the toilet. However, I'm not yet doing the #2 in the toilet. I need to go ... let's have the pressure build up a bit more and then I hope I can try the #2 in the toilet.

[2 Toilettentrainings Unfaelle heute aber ich habe es rechtzeitig bemerkt und auf der Toilette beendet. Aber ich mache das grosse Geschaeft noch nicht in der Toilette. Ich muss gehen, aber ich will nicht. Ich warte bis der Druck groesser wird und dann kann ich hoffentlich mein Geschaeft auf der Toilette machen.]

Mom's Birthday

Goal today: #2

Yesterday, I only had 2 accidents. I get the whole potty training thing. Today we need to focus on doing a #2 in the toilet, but I'm very hesitant. I don't like sitting on the toilet.  I will need extra candy ;)

[Ich hatte gestern nur 2 Unfaelle. Ich verstehe das Toilettentraining :) Heute muessen wir uns aber auf das grosse Geschaeft konzentrieren. Ich will im Moment nicht auf der Toilette sitzen und brauche extra Suessigkeiten ;)]

Potty Training: Day 1

So, day 1 of training is over. Went pretty well. Many accidents in the first half of the day. I now tell my parents when I have to go or they ask me. Tonight, I will sleep in diapers and we start day 2 tomorrow.

[ok. Tag 1 des Trainings ist vorbei. Ist eigentlich alles gut verlaufen. Viele Unfaelle in der ersten Tageshaelfte. Ich sage meinen Eltern wenn ich auf die Toilette muss oder sie fragen mich staendig. Heute Nacht werde ich eine Windel tragen und morgen beginnt der 2. Trainingstag.]

I'm getting it

It seems that I'm getting it now. I tell mom when I feel pressure and we go to the toilet. I get a nice treat afterwards. What I do for a treat ;)

[Ich glaube, ich habe es verstanden. Wenn ich zur Toilette muss, sage ich Mom jetzt bescheid und ich bekomme eine Suessigkeit. Was ich nicht alles fuer Suessigkeiten mache...]
