I woke up dry again
Dear Mommy & Daddy,
I woke up dry again. Daddy, Grandma showed me your picture with your hand. I made you a happy face near your computer. This morning it rained so Grandma swept the carpeting and Papa cleaned the stove. I am playing and watching a little TV. Now the sun has come up and Grandma is going to get dressed so she can take Coco & Taylor for a quick walk.
I can't wait to see you tonight. Grandma says I get an A+ for being such a good little boy.

Frozen Yogurt Place
Dear Mommy & Daddy,
Papa finally found the treats so Coco & Taylor are happy (they were hidden behind the vitamins). They took me for another special treat to get yogurt again after preschool. Grandma even had some too. Then we came home and I made lots of designs with the legos. Grandma took a picture. Papa cooked another good dinner and tonight we are relaxing. We played ball outside, but it is too dark. Also, we can hear all the noise from the high school. I'm still working on my little e's.
Grandma has taught me three new songs and I will sing them for you on Sunday. She must have been such a fun mommy!!!! I hope Daddy's wrist feels better as he has to cook for us again when Papa leaves.

I had to finish my homework
Dear Mommy & Daddy,
Grandma picked me up around 5:00 because I had to finish my homework. We are learning about E's, e's, and writing our name with little letters. I refused to do my name with a little n -- I like writing everything in big letters. Ms. Denise says I have nice handwriting.
Anyway, Grandma and I played ball outside and then we had dinner. Papa made hamburgers and I ate 1/2 of one because they were so big. Then Grandma read me two stories, we watched TV and I had my ice cream cone. At 9:30, Grandma was tired again. I told her I was scared so she stayed a lot and left the light on again.
This morning, Papa and Grandma were still sleeping when I got up. I wet my bed, but Grandma wasn't mad because it was the first time. She is washing everything. I got myself dressed, had some dry cereal and milk and played so nice. Grandma keeps telling me that I am such a good boy. She knows how hard it is to be little. She says its hard to be old too!
Then they came home and took Coco and Taylor for another walk. They are getting very spoiled. I don't know what we are doing tonight, but I know we are going to have fun.

I like coming home after preschool
Dear Mommy & Daddy,
I like coming home after preschool because I want to play with my toys. Grandma and Papa are taking me to a festival and then the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday. Sunday we are going to visit Aunt Joanne. Stephen and Michael are so busy that is the only time Grandma can see them.
Last night was another delicious dinner. Papa made me cod fillets (which I dipped in applesauce) all from Trader Joes. He also made me some chicken nuggets just in case I didn't like the fish, but I ate both. Grandma and I played and then watched Winnie the Pooh. I didn't want to shower (shush -- it's a secret and we can't tell Mommy) so Grandma washed me in the sink which was lots of fun. I don't understand why Grandma gets so tired every night. After all, she is only with me a little bit!
Naturally I wasn't tired again, but Grandma told me 3 stories and sang me 4 songs. Then she fell asleep. I was looking forward to going to preschool this morning because we are having a birthday party today. All my friends were already there when I got there this morning. Grandma keeps telling me I am so handsome and I always pick such nice clothes to wear.
Grandma is thinking of getting a lawyer to defend me. She didn't like the part where you miss the dogs more than me. After all, I'm just a little boy who will one day grow up and pick out your nursing home so you better be nice to me!!!!!!! Also, I am telling her about all the things that Mommy does to me (spanking). She says she is going to speak to Mommy. Then I tell her I am tricking her. Either way, Grandma says she is speaking to Mommy!!!!!! Grandma thinks I am wonderful, even if I am a little stubborn.
They told me they are taking Taylor and Coco for another walk when they come home. Are we lucky or what?

Woke up dry again
Dear Mommy & Daddy,
After you called, Hunter and Grandma played a little bit and then watched Dancing with the Stars. When Grandma said she was tired, Hunter said he wasn't -- so around 9:30, Grandma decided it was time to sleep. Hunter wanted his little light (on top of the dresser) on so Grandma said okay. Then Grandma ended up sleeping until 11:30 when she woke up. Meanwhile, Papa was reading and didn't bother to wake her. Honestly, what's with Papa!
This morning, Hunter woke up dry again. He is very proud of himself. He wanted to watch TV so Grandma gave him dry cereal, a syppy cup of milk and he watched some children's show while Grandma got dress. Hunter dresses himself so all Grandma had to do was brush his hair and brush his teeth. Tomorrow Grandma doesn't have to pack a lunch because Ms. Denise said it is some girl's birthday and they are having pizza. Hunter always eats all his sandwich that Grandma makes -- ham and cheese. She gives him grapes and -- shush it's a secret -- just a little cheetos (he shares it with Nicholas). Grandma told me that Hunter was very happy going to school because all of his friends were in the room and he started to play right away. Grandma is very happy!!
Both Grandma and Papa took us for a long walk. Papa holds me because I don't pull as much as Coco. Also, we both went so Grandma had to pick it up and carry that home! I was huffing so much and now we are both sleeping. They are going to a mall to walk some more and to probably have lunch. It is so quiet without our little boy.

Life is good!!!!
Dear Mommy & Daddy,
I was crying when Grandma left me this morning and she was worried all day and came earlier to pick me up. Guess what, Ms. Denise said I was fine, I just sat on her lap for a little bit and then everything was the same. Then I convinced Grrandma and Papa to take me for some yogurt near Ralphs. It's a good thing I can trick Grandma.
Now I am relaxing, chewing gum (Grandma bought me my own pack -- don't worry, I spit it out) and coloring. Life is good!!!!

Grandma and I watched some videos
Dear Mommy & Daddy,
I was so happy when Grandma picked up from school around 5:00. She said she missed me. I came home and played and then Papa made a delicious dinner of orange chicken from Trader Joes (they love that place) and I had two servings. Grandma and I watched some video's, then I took a quick shower, ate grapes and a little ice cream. Around 9:00, Grandma said she was tired so we went to bed. She told me two stories and rubbed my hair and back -- only I wasn't real sleepy. Grandma pretended to sleep and finally I went to sleep. I must have had a bad dream and woke up around 10:15 so Grandma let me sit with her while she watched Dancing with the Stars and then we all went to sleep around 10:30. Around 3:00 a.m., I had another dream and Grandma came for a little while to stay with me.
This morning, Papa cut me up cantaloupe, another bagel and some bacon. I didn't want to go to pre-school and didn't want a nap. I was sad when Grandma took me in the morning and now Grandma is sad. I know I will have fun today, but poor Grandma is worried. It is going to be very hot. It is a good thing Papa came with us because you need two people to take care of me!!! One to cook -- one to play. It's hard being a Grandma, especially one that worries!!!!
Coco and Taylor are getting lots of loving so don't worry about them.

Taylor has fun stealing Grandma & Papa's socks all the time
Dear Mommy & Daddy,
We just got back from a morning walk with Grandma & Papa. They took us after they took Hunter to preschool. Hunter decided he did not like the way Grandma combed his hair this morning. Then he didn't like the breakfast of bacon and bagel, but Grandma convinced him to eat something if he wanted to give her the pills. In fact, Grandma is noticing that he pouts when he doesn't get his way. After some coaching, he then lights up with a smile. Hunter says he doesn't like cereals. What does he eat in the morning??? You know we eat everything, but he is fussy!
Last night he didn't eat a lot of spaghetti, but then got hungry so Grandma gave him cheese, grapes and a little ice cream. By 8:30, she convinced him to go to sleep. She got into bed with him, told him a story and rubbed his back and hair (just like she use to do with Megan and Rachel). He got so relaxed and went to sleep. He slept this morning until 8:00 so he is getting lots of sleep. Grandma met Ms. Denise and saw Ms. Kim. He was so happy seeing his friends and drew her a picture before she his class of a house.
The pictures of the scenery look great -- sorry you can't get a two bedroom -- is there any available for the rest of the week? It is warming up here and in the valley it looks to be in the 90's. We're glad we live in Vista.
We hope we can go on another walk tomorrow. Taylor has fun stealing Grandma & Papa's socks all the time. Now we are going to sleep for the rest of the day!

I'm on vacation too
Dear Mommy & Daddy,
I decided to go with Grandma and Papa to meet Dot & Gil at the Oceanside Pier. They brought my stroller because I told Grandma I'm too tired to walk. Anyway, we walked the pier and saw pelicans, two men with snakes around them, lots of people fishing and swimming in the water. We walked to the end to eat at Ruby's. Gil couldn't get over how I finished all chicken nuggets, french fries and chocolate milk. They made us wait so long, they gave us free dessert so Papa, Grandma and I ate a chocolate brownie, ice cream sundae. Dot & Gil had one too.
Then we walked back to the car and I got out to look at the people swimming. It was a little hot so I didn't go down to the swings. Maybe next week. We said goodbye to them, then we went to Ralphs to get me grapes for tomorrow and dinner for tonight. Papa is making spaghetti. Grandma was so nice. She felt so sorry for Coco and Taylor and took them for a long walk. They were huffing and puffing when she came home -- so was Grandma. Then she fed them. I think they are going to like her better than you. I tell her all the time that I love her. Don't worry about me -- I'm on vacation too!!!!!

I am so lucky to have such wonderful grandparents. We went to Stephen's game, but I was bored and said I was hungry even though Grandma bought lots of snacks and Uncle Dave bought me cheetos. We were only there 1/2 hour and left. Then we went to Albertsons and got a cooked chicken for dinner. I wanted this fattening ice cream, but Papa said no. I was crying, but Papa would not give in. Grandma was going to let me have it, but she lost. We bought slow churned Dreyers.
Then we came home, had dinner and we played. I was getting tired and wanted to go to sleep. Grandma went to bed with me and then she fell asleep. I slept until 8:30 this morning. Then I got up (I was not wet) and got dress. Papa made eggs and bacon and fruit. Now I am watching TV. We are suppose to meet Dot & Gil in Oceanside, but I don't want to.
