My second rant in my life - JCPenny NO !

We went to JCPenny yesterday for the portrait photos. Never again.
1) They have hidden fees. They call them 'sitting fees'. Each person in the photo has to pay extra. Doesn't matter if daddy needs to hold me because I cannot stand alone.
2) The 'photographer' is no photographer. She did not suggest poses and half of the photos she took weren't usable or badly framed. Sometime the flash did not go off etc.
3) Wrinkles in the backdrop - just unprofessional
4) No air conditioning. It was VERY hot.
5) She made my mom Vill Kaskake.
6) Some more, but I am tired now.

Next time we will go to Babies are us for photos.

We got ~10 good pictures are are waiting for the prints.

[Wir waren ja gesten bei JCPenny fuer die Photos. Nie wieder.
1) JCPenny hat versteckte Kosten. Jede Person, nicht nur ich, muessen eine Sitzungsgebuehr bezahlen.
2) Die 'Photographin' ist keine Photographin. Die Haelfte der Photos waren schlecht und sie hat keine Stellungen vorgeschlagen. Das Blitzlicht ging auch nicht immer an.
3) Falten im Hintergrund - sehr unprofessionell.
4) Keine Klimaanlage. Es war SEHR heiss.
5) Sie machte Mom 'Vill Kaskake'.
6) Einiges mehr, aber ich bin jetzt muede.

Naechsten mal gehen wir nach Babies are us.

Wir haben aber trotzdem ~10 gute Bilder und warten auf die Prints.]

Busy busy busy

I've been very busy playing with the new toys, going places, eating and sleeping. Not much time left checking email and the blog. No big news since last Friday. I'm just having mega fun.

[Ich bin sehr beschaeftigt mit den neuen Spielzeugen, essen, schlafen etc. Nicht viel Zeit fuer email und dem Blog. Keine grossen Neuigkeiten seit letztem Freitag. Ich habe einfach nur viel viel Spass.]

Got some presents for my 6th month's birthday

Need to be swaddled

I did not like not being swaddles. I woke up last night and cried hysterically. I woke up and noticed that I'm not swaddled. What the heck mom/dad???!!! Swaddle me !

[Letzte Nacht bin ich aufgewacht und habe laut geschrien. Ich habe bemerkt, dass ich nicht eingewickelt wurde. Das geht aber nicht ! Bitte wickelt mich !]

No more neck stretches !!

Mommy took me to the therapist again today. She told us that I'm perfect :) We don't have to do any neck exercises any more.

I also don't like the swaddling any more, so we stop that. I like to sleep in different positions now.

[Mom hat mich heute wieder zur Therapie gebracht. Man hat uns gesagt, dass ich keinen Nackendehnuebungen mehr machen muss. Ich bin perfekt.

Ich will auch nicht mehr nachts eingewickelt werden. Ich will mich frei bewegen und in verschiedenen Positionen schlafen.]

Sleeping a lot

Currently, I'm sleeping through the night again. That makes my parents happy ;)

[Im Moment schlafe ich nachts wieder ohne Aufzuwachen. Das macht meine Eltern sehr gluecklich ;) ]

I think I gave mom a black eye. I just cannot control my hands and feet. Sorry mom for hitting you.

Exhausted...

Yesterday, we came back from visiting my grandparents. I had a LOT of fun. I surprised my daddy with some developmental changes... I can sit up a lot better and I also say 'baba' more often. I am more attentive and make more eye contact.
I slept for an hour at 6pm yesterday and then another 10 hours without waking up at night.
Now, I'm back in my crib and routine. I missed the dogs.

[Wir kamen gestern von dem Besuch meiner Grosseltern wieder. Ich hatte VIEL Spass. Ich ueberraschte meinen Vater mit einigen Entwicklungsfortschritten...Ich kann jetzt besser aufrecht sitzten und sage 'baba' viel oefters. Ich bin aufmerksamer. Ich schlief um 18Uhr fuer eine Stunde und dann letzte Nacht 10 Stunden am Stueck. Jetzt bin ich wieder in meiner Routine and Krippe. Ich habe die Hunde sehr vermisst.]

Time flies...I'm 6 months old now

It's my birthday AGAIN. I'm 6 months old now. Time flies... Have I overheard somebody mentioning school?

Going to LA

Today, I will got with mom to Los Angeles...visiting my grandparents in the valley. This will be my first road trip and visit to LA. Stephen comes with us. I think I heard my mom saying that we stay for 3 days. That will be fun.

[Heute werde ich mit Mom nach Los Angeles fahren. Wir werden meine Grosseltern im San Fernando Valley besuchen. Das ist meine erste lange Autofahrt und das erste mal in LA. Stephen kommt mit uns. Ich denke, Mom hat etwas von 3 Tagen gesagt. Das wird ein Spass.]

Blowing bubbles

Last weekend we took an imprint of my hand. That was messy = fun :)

Love my dogs

I notice the dogs a lot more. I like to watch them and smile. I also start to touch them. They are soooo soft.

Prunes. NO !

I'm not into prunes at all. Mom gave me prunes today...no way. It does not taste at all. I did not open my mouth for the second spoon. Bananas are a lot better :)

[Ich mag Pflaumen ueberhaupt nicht. Mom hat mir heute Pflaumen gegeben. Es schmeckte ueberhaupt nicht. Ich habe meinen Mund fuer den 2. Loeffel nicht mehr geoeffnet. Bananen sind viel viel besser. ]

Sleeping again

I'm sleeping through the night again without waking up (ok, most of the time). My parents like that ;)

Watch me to see my latest developments on video. Note that I can make a lot more sounds now...like 'baahh', 'abba' and 'babah' (that should develop into 'papa' ;).

[Schaut Euch den Film an um zu sehen was ich jetzt alles kann. Ich kann jetzt auch mehrere Laute machen wie 'baahh', 'abba' und 'babah' (das sollte spaeter zu 'papa' werden ;).]

My #2 is disgusting. The smell can kill. Must be from all the vegetables. Oh man....

Babysitting Murdock

We are babysitting Murdock, Aunt Joanne's black lab, until next Sunday. Aunt Joanne is with her family in Hawaii. This will be fun :)

Seems that I love the sweet potatoes best. Better than peas, squash etc.

[Es scheint, dass ich suesse Kartoffeln am liebsten mag. Sind besser als Erbsen, Kuerbis etc.]

I'm sooo happy

I'm soooo happy. No reason. I just smile and laugh a lot. I'm having a great time.
